The image was created in 1938 by Mother Margaret Mary Nealis r.s.c.j (1876- 1957). Called "Parvulus Pastor" meaning Tiny Shepherd; the image depicts the Christ Child as a young shepherd, lovingly draping His fragile lamb up in His cloak to protect Him from a cold Canadian snowstorm.
