The medallion is of antiquity, dating to the early 1900’s. The Latin translation is: “Take the power to the people the sacrifice of God.” The engraved image of Mary holding the chalice with the priest under the side of Christ crucified shows a mother's love for her priest and encouragement for their vocation of celebrating mass.
